How on earth is my “baby” almost ready for Preschool???
Seriously though, how has the time passed so quickly that my son is almost 3 years old!?
After months, maybe even more than a year or serious thought and contemplation I have decided to do preschool from home… and probably a real preschool as well
I have never in my life thought that I would homeschool. In fact, I was adamant that would not happen. However, now? Yeah I think about it everyday, I even daydream about it. I know in my heart it is what our family is meant to do. My husband though, not so much. He is 100% sure of the exact opposite. It is very frustrating. Thus, I plan on doing a full preschool with Greyson at home, and probably enrolling him in the preschool at church. The preschool at church is only once a week for a few hours. At the very least it will be great for Greyson to make some friends, plus I can get some extra work done.
So here goes. My August series:
I am taking this entire month to really plan and wrap my head around this new schedule. I know that if I am not fully prepared for the year, it will crumble a few weeks into it. I am fully dedicated do this, and excited so I want it to go as smoothly as possible. HA!
Some of the posts / planning I have for this month are:
- FREE printable Pre-K assessment
- Craft closet redo
- Choosing curriculum and getting set up for it
- Extracurricular activities
Some of my favorite resources so far have been:
- Confessions of a Homeschooler (this is where I purchased our curriculum from) *More on that later
- 1plus1plus1equals1
- Homeschool Creations
