Last week Scott taught Greyson a card game called Kings Corner. One of the skills Greyson needs in order to play is to be able to add numbers to 10. He does this by counting out loud while Scott keeps track on his fingers – then Greyson counts Scott’s fingers. It is working great, and he is learning, but I think at this point in time he could start doing this without any assistance. So I decided to make these simple sheets to “work” with him, and hopefully they will soon become a simple review of his newly learned skill.

I decided to do something I rarely do, and make this in just black and white. I tend to lean towards making colorful, exciting worksheets, but these are a simple concept, and I wanted to keep them that way.
How they work-
- Fill in the empty square with the number that will complete the equation
- Easy Peasy
Putting in the answers – Since I kept them so simple, here are some fun ways your preschooler can give their answers-
- Obviously – Write them
- Use Markers, colored pencils, crayons, pens
- Stamps
- Number Magnets
Make sure you check out my complete list of Preschool Math worksheets!!
If you child is a visual / hands on learner you can incorporate any number of items to show them the equations. A few of our favorite math manipulatives are:
- Counting Bears
- Snap Cubes
- Buttons
- M&M’s <— Yummy!
Here are a few items that are on my wishlist for the boys
