A few days ago I shared my Preschool Math – Simple Subtraction Worksheets, well, today I am going to share some Easy Addition worksheets. 🙂 I have previously explained why I am keeping these so simple, and under the number 10 (for beginners). But to quickly recap –
Greyson is a child who is showing signs of needing to be a perfectionist. If he is unable to excel at something pretty much immediately he will say he does not want to do it. I recognize this trait in him and we are working on it but I will not set him and his personality up for failure – especially when it comes to his education. I know without a doubt that he will begin to hate working on math, if he is unable to grasp it relatively quickly. SO, I am making these easy for him. Allowing him a few awesome “wins” in the beginning to build up his confidence to be able to grow quickly with his math skills.
I will be sharing more difficult subtraction and addition worksheets soon. In addition, I will also be adding to the One More, One Less worksheets, so make sure you check back regularly! OR even better yet, you can subscribe to get all of my posts right in your inbox, or you can join us over on Facebook, Google+ and I am also on TSU.co!

When Greyson and I sit down to work on Math I always pull out either our Counting Bears or our Snap Cubes. There are images that go with every equation, but I also like to use the cubes as a hands on manipulative for Greyson to use to recreate the equations. They make a huge difference for him! If you do not own either of those there are so many objects around your home that you can use. A few that come to mind are:
- Pom-Poms (crafting supplies)
- Pennies, Nickles, Dimes, or Quarters
- Paper Clips
- Blocks
- M&M’s
- Cheerios
